What do we expect from you?
The successful candidate will work within the area of Energy Parks and he/she will be responsible for leading and controlling all loading / unloading operations carried out in the dock and monobuoy of the energy park, in safe conditions with technical and economic efficiency, organizing the human resources assigned to achieve the established objectives and operational budgets in accordance with the safety, quality and environmental policies.
Key responsibilities:
• Establish and control the necessary actions for compliance with regulation and procedures in terms of safety, quality and environment to carry out cargo operations to ships.
• Coordinate, plan, establish and decide on the operations of loading / unloading of ships in the maritime terminal to minimize the times of stay of ships in port.
• Propose, implement and supervise training plans and actions aimed at the development of its employees, in accordance with the plans and objectives of the center. maintain periodic meetings with technicians and semi-annual meetings with all shifts.
• Manage the human resources that depend hierarchically on the head of area, in accordance with the collective agreement and human resources policy as well as authorize vacation plan, licenses, permits, shift changes, etc.
• Act as terminal security officer before ships, implementing the different levels of protection established by the ministry of the interior through development. responsible for admission of dangerous goods in port.
What are we looking for?
• Degree in Merchant Marine Captain
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Extensive knowledge in operations with oil tankers.
• Experience in docking maneuvers.
• Knowledge of the characteristics of the products (relationship with transport and its incompatibilities).
• Use of specific equipment (loading arms, hoses, fenders, cranes, turners, etc.).
• Knowledge of procedure and regulations
