What do we expect from you?

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating in the development and use the data driven analytical model & guidelines and implement management techniques to understand cost dynamics with well-defined metrics to control and consolidate Investment (Capex) and costs (Opex, transport & structure), which will lead to give the best tools to the business decision making process

Key responsibilities:

  • Role model leadership support for HSEQ culture
  • Work as a part of the Investment and Cost Control asset team to support developing and implementing Department's objectives based on an updated know-how of the processes, flows, drivers and operations involved in the operated and non-operated fields
  • Know and comply with the guidelines, procedures and policies established by Cepsa for the development of the functions and mission of the position
  • Contribute to assure investment and costs approval procedures and registration as per internal policies in coordination with the E&P Investment and Cost Office
  • Contribute and participate in the operating & non operating fields Investment (Capex) and costs (opex, transport & structure) 5-year plan and ensure conformity and quality with Business Plans
  • Continuously support and consolidate projects deviation, and update year-end forecast, identifying and categorizing deviations against initial approved budget
  • Contribute with relevant information about Investments (Capex) and costs (opex , transport & structure) and deviations to the Financial Controller
  • Contribute with accounting and financial controller to prepare the documentation and information from government entities, external and internal auditors and partner’s request
  • Support Investment (Capex) and costs (Opex, transport & structure) follow-up periodic meetings with the divisions and horizontal functions
  • Contribute with the information required for benchmarking analysis, ad-hoc studies and post-expenditure analysis

What are we looking for?

  • 5-7 years’ proven experience as management control, financial analyst or project management in the oil industry
  • High level of English
  • Proven track record of project cost control and economics evaluations. Extremely strong MS Office skills.
  • Availability to travel occasionally
